Registered in Vancouver, BC, in the summer of 1997, Zodiac Light Waves is a family-owned business that began as a startup specializing in laser and night vision systems. Since then, the company has grown significantly and now offers a wide range of IT services to clients across Canada.
Zodiac Light Waves Inc. was incorporated in 2002 and became an international distributor of fibre optics and optical wireless communications systems with partners in the UAE, UK and China.
In 2006, Zodiac Light Waves shifted its focus with Hesam Mahdavi joining as a business co-founder. This led to the development of the IT and Nurse Call division, focusing on the Canadian market.
In the same year, the company started to provide wireless services for the healthcare and retirement home industry. We adopted the first wireless nurse call system in North America and have provided this service to our clients ever since.
The healthcare and retirement market has grown quickly during the following years, but Zodiac has maintained its position as a technology powerhouse and now delivers the latest technology in nurse call systems.
