History

Zodiac Light Waves Inc. was borne in the summer of 1997, exporting Canadian manufactured fiberoptics and telecommunications systems.

In the fall of 2004, we added Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) products with the sole focus of moving to wireless and wired communication systems for the hospitality and health care sectors. The company developed highly customized, cost-efficient, and easy-to-use RFID solutions for the hospitality industry.

In the summer of 2005, we introduced our first RFID and biometric lock system for offices and hotel doors. Zodiac exported its products word wide with a significant market in the Middle East.

Zodiac focused on digital systems integration in 2007 and developed a solid foundation in integrated solutions. For example, in 2008, we adopted the wireless nurse call system and integrated it with the admin and Resident phone system for Ontario's retirement homes.

The milestone in 2008 was the integration of CCTV, Access, Admin phone, Nurse call, Network, and Resident Phone in one package.

Deployed systems are still in operation (after 14 years) with minimum maintenance and are still under our technical support.

In 2012 we partnered with Fortinet to add network design and security to our portfolio. Later in 2015, the addition of  Wi-Fi design and troubleshooting generated a complete package that delivers all necessary services to a retirement home. Since then, our focus has been to provide our clients with the latest technology in the field by developing new products and keeping our technology to date.

Our strategy is to gain the trust of our customers and treat them as part of our business family. We work hard to keep our reputation as high as possible in the way that Zodiac is known as a brand of quality and customer care.
